Anam Cara Festival
We are so excited to announce our inaugural festival, “Anam Cara.” Our very first edition will take place in Ireland, with the exact location to be revealed in due course. It could be on the green in Moyross, in a fairy fort outside Tuam, or in the secret catacombs beneath Leinster House – it matters not, as we can guarantee gorgeous scenery, unique stages, and a festival that offers far more than just great music.
We want an atmosphere of relaxation and playfulness to mingle with your yearning for partying and the wonderfully strange. Imagine if the Willie Clancy Festival and All Together Now had a baby – and that baby was raised in Mount Doom under the patronage of Sauron, the all-seeing eye.
One of the most beautiful aspects of Anam Cara is that you – the attendees – have an integral part to play. We want your personality and creativity to shine bright throughout the weekend, and we’ll do everything in our power to make that happen. We’ve planned stage-specific outfit themes, oddball challenges, and the exploration of peculiar and eccentric spaces that will live long in your memory. Anam Cara is an intimate, invite-only event for approximately 300 people. We don’t just want to break the ice – we want to melt it away, so you can be entirely yourself while making real connections and true friendships.
The Anam Cara team is a collective of creatives and festival regulars. We’ve spent years building wild corners of festivals and hosting events that thrive on connection. The creative direction and execution of Anam Cara will be a joint effort by our most talented friends, crafting a full weekend performance – a living, breathing story where the crowd is as much the show as the performers on stage. You’ll meet many a character over the course of the weekend, all of whom are our friends – and by Sunday night, they’ll be yours too.
See you there x

The Altered Hours
Since their formation in 2010, The Altered Hours have evolved into one of Ireland’s most compelling bands, known for their immersive sound and magnetic live presence. Over the course of three albums, three EPs, and a stream of digital releases on independent labels like A Recordings, Penske Recordings, Art For Blind, and Pizza Pizza Records, the group has released a body of work that is as emotionally charged as it is sonically expansive. A body of work that oscillates between garage rock, psychedelia, shoegaze textures, driving rhythms and slow-burning melodies. Releases such as their Sweet Jelly Roll EP (2013), recorded in Anton Newcombe’s Berlin studio; their debut full-length In Heat Not Sorry (2016), recorded in the iconic Funkhaus; and their self-produced Convertible (2018) have led the group to embark on multiple tours of Europe & the U.K, playing shows in venues ranging from churches and club venues to DIY basement gigs. They’ve supported legendary acts like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Pop Group and Fontaines DC and have been joined onstage by members of Spacemen 3, affirming their place in the lineage of boundary-pushing guitar music. In 2025 The band released their third LP on Dundalk’s artist-led label Pizza Pizza Records. Produced by Julie McLarnon, the record distills the essence of a group that has unmistakable chemistry. Anchored in their signature distortion-soaked jangle, the album dives into direct and soulful territory and unveils the heart of their songwriting spirit.
Lynks
Dubbed the merchant of pure gay chaos and now bringing Global Sex to the world, Lynks is a cult sensation from London’s underground. Hailed as ‘one to watch’ by The Guardian,
NME, Attitude, DIY, Time Out, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders, Huw Stephens, and Elton John. Their riotous live shows have sold out venues across the UK and Europe, transforming Glastonbury, Reading and Latitude into queer dystopias of electro-punk excess. With headline shows at London’s KOKO and Heaven, Lynks’ cultural takeover is well underway.
